A message from the Home School Community Liaison Coordinator

Dear Parents and Guardians,

My name is Emma Keaveney, and I am the Home School Community Liaison (HSCL) Coordinator in St. Michael's BNS. You will usually see me at the school gate each morning welcoming pupils and families into school.

As we come to the end of another school year, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our wonderful parents and guardians for your continued support throughout the year. Your involvement, encouragement and partnership with the school make a tremendous difference to the lives of our pupils.

This year, we were delighted to host many enjoyable events and activities in our Family Room. These included our popular coffee mornings, a Crochet Class, Christmas Wreath Making Workshops and a fantastic Wellness Week Art Class. A special thank you to Alex (Matty's Mum) for her generosity, support and expertise in helping to facilitate our crochet classes.

It was wonderful to welcome so many parents through our doors throughout the year. We were especially delighted to have one dad join us for our activities – well done, Luis (Arthur's Dad)! We hope this is something we can continue to build on in the future.

The success of these events reflects the strong sense of community within St. Michael's BNS. We look forward to offering even more opportunities for parents and families to become involved during the next school year.

Finally, I would like to commend all of our parents and guardians for the tremendous work you do every day. Your care, support and dedication are evident in your children, who arrive to school well-presented, ready to learn and a credit to their families.

On behalf of everyone in St. Michael's BNS, I wish you and your families a happy, safe and relaxing summer break. We look forward to welcoming all pupils back to school on Thursday, 27th August 2026.

If you have any questions or would like to contact me, please feel free to call or text me on 083 045 8867.

Thank you for all your support.

Kind regards,

Emma Keaveney
