A message from the Home School Community Liaison Coordinator

Hello Everyone!
My name is Emma Keaveney.
I am the Home School Community Liaison Coordinator here in St. Michael’s BNS.
You’ll usually see me at the school gate from 9 am onwards. Come and say hello if I haven’t met you already!
I support parents at St. Michael’s BNS, and it is my privilege to work with you.
We recognise that parents are the primary educators of their children, and as a Home School Teacher, I get to assist you along the way! It is a job I thoroughly enjoy being a part of every day.
We often discuss attendance matters, community supports within the area, host coffee mornings, crochet classes, and many seasonal events, such as Christmas wreath-making classes and Easter basket-making sessions.
St. Michael’s is a warm and welcoming school with parents from around the world.
Our Family Room is a place where we come together to support one another and our students. It is always a welcoming environment.
Our Parent Coffee Morning is every Tuesday from 09:30 to 10:30 am. Come along for tea and treats. Babies and toddlers are also very welcome.
Every Thursday, we run a crochet class for beginners to pros! 09:30 to 10:30 am
